Coronado Retirement Village's Response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
Dear Coronado Retirement Village extended family,
Due to the rising numbers of confirmed COVID-19 cases throughout the world, Coronado Retirement Village has updated the screening process of essential visitors. Currently, following California State Law and the Department of Social Services, non-essential visitors are currently not allowed into the facility.
We have been taking temperatures of essential visitors upon entering the building. Employees will receive symptom screenings throughout the day including temperature checks. All staff and essential visitors are required to wear masks and as needed PPE gear. For residents safety, we have provided in-room meal services as well as social distancing measures for all activities and meals.
Essential visitors must delay visits if any of the following statements apply:
You have been diagnosed with or exposed to anyone with COVID-19
You have reason to believe that you, someone in your household or someone you have close contact with has been exposed to COVID-19
You or anyone in your household has traveled through any airport and/or on a cruise ship in the last 14 days
You or anyone in your household has traveled to the greater New York metropolitan area in the last 14 days
You currently have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat and/or shortness of break
We're committed to protecting our residents and staff during this time, and we will continue to take all necessary precautions with their health and safety in mind.
We are regularly updating Coronado Retirement Village's residents and family members via email, on social media and over the phone, but if you have an urgent question, as always, please reach out to our Administrator at any time.
