WWII Veterans in Senior Homes

June 14, 2014

According to CNN, there are more than 1.7 million WWII Veterans still alive today. The majority of veterans are currently residing in senior homes. Here at Coronado Retirement Village, on a daily basis we hand the microphone to our unsung heroes and let them share their stories of honor and courage. Ray Volpi a retired Naval Aviator states: “It is more than just a job defending our country, it is our duty.” To all the veterans in and out of Assisted Living, we salute you!
